Bill Callahan - Eid Ma Clack Shaw
Even as a Smog superfan, I didn’t really care for this album when it first came out, but after seeing it on a bunch of people I respect’s year-end lists I revisited it. I was just about to get into it when my tipsy mother overheard it and remarked that she thought it sounded like James Taylor. I don’t really hear the comparison, but back to square one nonetheless.
