The Adverts - Cast of Thousands

For years I kept hearing about this second Adverts LP that was one of the best albums ever and was a concept record about the futility of being punk or something. I ignored it until recently, because I’m dumb. Once this song gets going it sounds closer to Springsteen or even Pulp than a band who wrote a song called “One-Chord Wonders.”

Important lesson: Listen to your friends, even if you usually dislike concept albums.
